General notes:
Marianna La Grassa was born and living in Sicily before the earthquake hit in January 1968. She and her families came to Australia four months later as the government accepted them as refugees. She had been working for Speedo factory in Artarmon and a women's dress factory in Willoughby Road. She has been involved in many MOSAIC centre activities for decades, including organizing bus outings for the Italian group.Recorded by Willoughby District Historical Society & Museum on 22nd January 2024.
