As the Citizen of the Year of 2014, Sophia Huang has settled in Willoughby since 1979 and witness a lot of changes happened in this LGA. She has been a volunteer leader of Taiwanese Social Group at MOSAIC since 1999. This role connect Willoughby City Council and the Taiwanese community. She was is charge of organizing the Chinese Moon Festival and the Australian - Taiwan friendship event held at the Concourse in 2014.Recorded by Willoughby District Historical Society & Museum on 19th June 2024.
